The Windows Games Experience group is looking for a talented Production Manager to join us in enabling the best online gaming experiences imaginable; features like on-boarding new web games, matchmaking, and stats that span all of our customers' gaming experiences on Messenger Games ( [link removed] ). A key part of continuing revenue generation for Messenger games is through enabling sponsorship opportunities. This includes delivering sponsorships of games that have already been designed with this in mind, designing sponsorship opportunities into new games added to the portfolio, participating in the "pitch process" with potential customers with custom needs, and finally expanding sponsorship opportunities into the international space with a streamlined production process. Responsibilities for this project include: Working with ad sponsorship contacts to create "mini-specs [link removed] %20Documents/AdSpons/Messenger%20Game%20Skinning%20Requirements.doc" for skinned games releases. Specifications details goals, work items, and schedules for skinned game projects Working with dev and test to drive skinned game delivery on schedule Developing and maintaining a long-term service level agreement and timeframe for skinned games delivery Defining sponsorship opportunities, goals, and features for new games being added to the portfolio, working closely with the Games PM/Producer Creating streamlined processes for enabling local sponsorship opportunities that subsidiaries can participate in Managing stream of requests and cost/benefit analysis for localized skinned games opportunities Managing a release calendar with limited design, development, and test resources to maximize projects shipped with the available resources Ability to communicate clearly, manage details, devise creative solutions, and leverage resources effectively will be keys to success for this position. Qualifications include: The ideal candidate: Has at least 3-4 years prior experience in a site management or web environment Has experience developing web sites with some of the following technologies: HTML, CMS, ASP.NET, XML, and / or DHTML Has a demonstrated passion for technology and the Web Exhibits excellent communications and project management skills, as well as strong data-analysis skills. Demonstrates strong communications and project management skills, as well as the ability to coordinate and manage relationships with other internal and external groups. Must thrive in a highly collaborative online environment, and take initiative in that context. Has a BA/BS in Technical Communications, Computer Science, Information Management, or related discipline.
