Deputy Art Director

We are seeking an artist to lead our Editorial Art department as Deputy Art Director. To qualify candidates must have 7 - 10 years experience in newspapers and magazines.

Requirements:

- Strong designer with a great sense of typography and a diverse portfolio.
- Must be able to work closely with editors.
- Collaborating with the editorial team to execute high-quality graphics, maps, designs for covers, all departments and features pages.
- Proficient in all Macintosh graphic design programs, i.e., InDesign, QuarkXPress, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
