Description:

Snap5 is currently auditioning for a Creative Director to lead its motion graphics team. Candidates must posses the ability to interpret client's communications strategy, and then lead the design team to create treatments that align with those strategies. A qualified candidate should have experience in all aspects of motion graphics including bidding projects, pitching, brainstorming, design, live action shoots, and 2D and 3D animation. A Snap5 Creative Director must also have the ability to inspire, stimulate, and initiate creative ideas from the design team throughout the creative process. A Snap5 Creative Director is responsible for the quality of the final work, the operations of the studio, as well as to assist the sales team in pitches and new business strategies.

Required Skills:
Undergraduate degree in Fine Arts or related field or equivalent visual design and management experience required; (graduate degree preferred)
*At least 5 years management experience working with large-scale ad agencies, cable and broadcast companies.
*Strong track record of winning new business
*Must possess a thorough understanding of interactive communications and delivery systems, processes, and industry best practices
*Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, and have the ability to storyboard or translate ideas to designers and develop innovative motion graphics solutions
*A strong working knowledge of experience design, brand development, interactive commerce and creative process
*Print and web design capabilities: must know how to work in both media for integrated campaigns
*Ability to lead projects from concept to completion.
*Experience with software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign & Flash
*Experience with Adobe AfterEffects & video editing (a plus) needed for this position
*Ability to make evaluative judgments
*Superior oral, written and interpersonal communication skills and presentation skills
